Private, independent service
ITIN-Pro is a business name used by Tax Filing Corp, a private third-party service provider. We are not the Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, a Secretary of State, FinCEN, or another government agency. We are not sponsored, endorsed, or approved by a government agency merely because we assist with government forms or processes.
You can file directly
You are not required to hire ITIN-Pro to form a company or request a tax identifier. Forms can be submitted directly to the relevant government agency, and some federal applications have no government application fee. For example, an individual can submit Form W-7 directly to the IRS without paying ITIN-Pro’s service fee. We charge for the preparation, coordination, document review, and support included in the service you choose.
Official information is available from IRS.gov and the applicable state filing office.
ITIN eligibility and use
An Individual Taxpayer Identification Number is issued for U.S. federal tax purposes to an eligible person who is not eligible for a Social Security Number. It is not general identification outside the federal tax system, does not provide work authorization or immigration status, and is not issued solely to start a company, open an account, or use an e-commerce or payment platform. Applicants commonly file a U.S. federal tax return unless a documented exception applies.
No professional advice
Website content and general support are educational and administrative. They do not constitute legal, tax, accounting, investment, immigration, or financial advice. A filing service cannot determine every consequence of a U.S. entity or tax position in your country. Consult qualified advisers who can assess your facts and jurisdictions.
No guaranteed outcome
Government agencies make final decisions about formations, EINs, ITINs, and filing acceptance. Banks, marketplaces, payment processors, and other private companies make their own onboarding and risk decisions. Eligibility, requirements, country availability, processing time, and approval can change. We do not guarantee an identifier, account, platform approval, tax result, or deadline. The limited ITIN preparation guarantee is only the commercial commitment stated in our Refund Policy.
CAA-related descriptions
ITIN-Pro provides eligible ITIN services as an IRS Authorized Certifying Acceptance Agent (CAA). That role concerns the IRS ITIN Certifying Acceptance Agent process and the scope of the applicable agreement. Spelling note: it is Certifying, not “Certified.” CAA status does not make ITIN-Pro a government agency, create an IRS endorsement of any outcome, or expand an ITIN beyond its federal tax purpose. The exact document-review and handling steps for a case must be confirmed before the applicant sends an original or certified identity document.

Accuracy and updates
Filing fees, forms, procedures, sanctions, tax rules, and third-party requirements change. We make reasonable efforts to keep public information useful, but it may become incomplete or out of date. Confirm material costs, eligibility, and obligations from primary sources or a qualified adviser before acting.
