Limited ITIN preparation guarantee
If the IRS rejects an ITIN application because of an error in the application that ITIN-Pro prepared under the purchased service, we will return 110% of the ITIN-Pro service fee paid for that ITIN application. At the current $348 service fee, the covered amount is $382.80. The original $348 charge is refunded to the original payment method. Because a card refund cannot exceed the captured charge, the additional $34.80 commercial-guarantee amount is delivered separately through a lawful payment method agreed with you in writing. It is not an IRS program and does not apply to government, courier, translation, certification, or other third-party amounts.
For this guarantee, a preparation error means a material mistake introduced by ITIN-Pro in the application as filed, after you provided accurate and complete information and approved or signed the filing where required. If an IRS notice identifies a correctable preparation issue before a final rejection, we may offer to correct and resubmit it at no additional ITIN-Pro service fee when the IRS process permits. A final rejection caused by an uncured, covered ITIN-Pro preparation error remains eligible for the refund described above.
What the guarantee does not cover
The limited ITIN guarantee does not apply when rejection, return, suspension, or delay results from:
- No qualifying U.S. federal tax purpose, ineligibility for an ITIN, SSN eligibility, or a change in your circumstances.
- Information or documents that were inaccurate, incomplete, expired, altered, late, not your own, or not acceptable to the IRS.
- Your failure to review, sign, attend a required step, respond, or provide requested evidence on time.
- An IRS request, policy interpretation, processing issue, identity determination, mailing problem, or other matter not caused by our preparation error.
- A tax return, exception document, treaty position, or third-party certification outside the service scope you purchased.
- A bank, marketplace, payment platform, or other private company declining or restricting an account.
The guarantee applies only to the ITIN-Pro ITIN service fee. It does not guarantee that an ITIN will be issued or that an ITIN will produce a banking, platform, immigration, credit, or tax result.
Cancellation before work begins
If you request cancellation before we begin substantive preparation and before we commit or pay a government or third-party cost for your order, we will refund the amount paid for the canceled service. Payment-processing charges will be treated as required by applicable law and our payment provider’s rules.
After work or filing begins
Once substantive work begins, the portion attributable to work already performed may be non-refundable. Once a filing, registered-agent order, address service, courier, certification, or other third-party service is submitted or purchased, the associated amount is non-refundable unless the recipient returns it to us. If an engagement ends before completion, we will review the order stage and identify any amount that remains refundable under the purchased scope and applicable law.
LLC, EIN, and third-party decisions
LLC and EIN services are not covered by the 110% ITIN guarantee. A government rejection or delay does not automatically create a refund right where we performed the purchased preparation or filing work correctly. If we make a material preparation error, our first step will ordinarily be to correct it without an additional ITIN-Pro service fee. Refund rights that apply by law are not limited by this policy.
Optional add-on services
Add-on services are billed once at checkout and covered by the specific terms below. They do not extend the 110% ITIN guarantee to other services and do not create refund rights for any charge outside the add-on itself.
- Expedite my ITIN ($198): if your ITIN is not delivered within 6–8 weeks of the IRS receiving the submitted application, the $198 expedite fee is fully refunded to the original payment method. The refund covers the expedite fee only. It does not refund the ITIN service fee, government or third-party costs, and does not guarantee issuance of an ITIN.
- Expedite my EIN ($298): if the EIN is not delivered within 3 business days of order confirmation, the $298 expedite fee is fully refunded to the original payment method. Delays caused by IRS system outages, incomplete or inaccurate customer information, or customer response times outside our control are excluded, and the refund covers the expedite fee only.
- US VPS ($298): refundable in full if requested before we provision the server. Once provisioning begins the amount is non-refundable, because the underlying compute capacity is committed. Contact support before use if you want to cancel.
Ongoing services
Today's checkout does not authorize any automatic charge after year one. If you separately authorize a future service period, its refund treatment will be shown with that order before payment.
How to request a refund
Email support@itin-pro.com with your name, order reference, service, reason for the request, and the date shown on the IRS notice. Do not attach the notice, passport, tax return, or tax number to the first email. We will provide the approved transfer instructions if the complete notice is needed. A claim under the ITIN preparation guarantee must be started within 30 calendar days after the date on the final rejection notice. We request only the additional evidence reasonably needed to decide whether the guarantee or another refund term applies.
We acknowledge a request within five business days and decide a complete guarantee claim within ten business days after receiving the needed evidence. Approved card refunds are submitted to the original payment method; the card issuer controls when funds appear. When an approved 110% guarantee claim includes the additional 10%, we arrange that $34.80 separately as described above and never ask you to pay a fee to receive it. Nothing in this policy limits a non-waivable right or remedy under applicable law.
