This Privacy Policy applies when you visit www.itin-pro.com, contact us, complete an assessment, purchase a service, or provide information so we can assist with a U.S. filing. The information needed for a matter depends on the service and your circumstances. Please do not send identity documents through ordinary email or WhatsApp unless our support team has first confirmed the approved transfer method for your case.
Information we may collect
Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect:
- Contact details, including your name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, country, and preferred language.
- Assessment and application details, such as your service goal, U.S. tax purpose, entity information, ownership information, and filing history.
- Identity and supporting documents when they are reasonably required for the service you request.
- Communications, instructions, consent records, customer-support history, and files you choose to provide.
- Transaction details, such as payment status, amount, date, and limited billing information received from a payment provider.
- Technical information processed by our hosting and security providers, such as network address, browser and device type, referring page, approximate country, and website activity. Country personalization uses an edge-supplied country code rather than storing your raw IP address. Checkout rate limiting uses a short-lived one-way network identifier.
Payment-card details may be collected directly by a payment provider through its hosted fields. We do not intend for full card numbers or security codes to be entered into ITIN-Pro’s ordinary contact or assessment forms.
Why we use information
We may use personal information to:
- Review eligibility and service fit before accepting an engagement.
- Prepare, coordinate, submit, and track the filing services you authorize.
- Verify instructions, communicate about a matter, and provide customer support.
- Process and reconcile payments, refunds, renewals, and accounting records.
- Prevent fraud, protect our systems, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.
- Understand and improve website performance, subject to any consent required for analytics or advertising technologies.
- Send service and transaction messages connected with your request or purchase.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on performing a contract, taking steps at your request, complying with law, pursuing legitimate operational and security interests, or consent. The basis can vary by activity and jurisdiction.
How information may be shared
We may disclose only the information reasonably needed to:
- Submit authorized information to the IRS, state filing offices, registered-agent providers, or other relevant recipients.
- Use vendors supporting payments, hosting, secure document transfer, communications, analytics, customer support, and business operations.
- Obtain advice from lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers, or other professional advisers.
- Comply with law, lawful process, sanctions controls, fraud prevention, or a valid government request.
- Complete a business reorganization or transfer, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some analytics or advertising activity may be treated as “sharing” or targeted advertising under certain privacy laws; where required, we will provide consent or opt-out controls before enabling that activity.
International processing
ITIN-Pro serves people in multiple countries, while Tax Filing Corp operates from the United States. Information may therefore be processed in the United States or other countries where approved service providers operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws. We limit providers to the information needed for their role and use applicable contractual or other transfer safeguards when the law requires them. You may ask for more information about the safeguard relevant to your request.
Retention and deletion
Contact and assessment requests are generally retained for up to 24 months so we can respond and document the request. Order, transaction, consent, accounting, and completed filing records may be retained for up to seven years, or longer when a specific legal or professional rule requires it. Security records are kept only for the period reasonably needed to investigate and prevent misuse.
This public website does not provide an identity-document upload field. If a purchased service later requires an identity document, the onboarding instructions will identify the approved channel and the applicable retention need before transfer. We delete or de-identify records when the retention purpose ends, subject to legal holds, backups, and provider deletion cycles.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical measures intended to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No online system is completely secure. Our current security principles and safe document-sharing guidance are described on the Security page.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
The current site uses only storage needed for navigation, checkout continuity, and a customer's own confirmation display. Its first-party analytics bridge does not send data to an analytics vendor by itself. We do not currently run targeted advertising cookies or sell personal information. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about how personal data is used; to object to certain processing; or to withdraw consent. Rights are subject to legal exceptions and identity verification. Send a request to support@itin-pro.com. We respond within the period required by applicable law. If we deny a request, you may reply with the subject “Privacy appeal.” Authorized agents may submit requests where applicable, subject to proof of authority. We do not discriminate against a person for exercising a privacy right.
Children
Our services are intended for adults and business owners, not children under 18. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information without appropriate authorization.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our services, vendors, or legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected by a revised date on this page and, where appropriate, an additional notice.
